Bruins Host Sandites on Monday
Bartlesville High basketball continues its busy stretch back at home on Monday night.
BHS will host Sand Springs for a conference double-header at Bruin Field House. This was a game originally scheduled for this past Tuesday. Both BHS clubs are trying to recapture some momentum after losing on Friday at Bixby.
For the Bartlesville boys, there has been obvious progress over the course of the past couple weeks. A new pace of play combined with better shot selection and a better shooting percentages have led to some competitive games against 6A’s best and the win over Union last Thursday.
Bartlesville head coach Clent Stewart says things are going in the right direction.
The Bruins have shot 37-percent from three, 45-percent from the field and 78-percent from the free-throw line over their past four games, all three much better than their season averages.
