Bartlesville High football makes the longest road trip in 6A-II on Friday night, as the Bruins travel to Lawton for the first round of the playoffs. BHS takes on Lawton High.

BHS is playing its fourth postseason game all-time at Cameron Stadium. The Bruins have gone 0-3 in the previous matchups, including a 56-24 loss to the Wolverines in 2014.

The expanded playoff field in 6A allowed Bartlesville to qualify. BHS is 4-6 on the year and is the 5-seed out of District 1.

Head coach Harry Wright says the extra week of practice and the playoff experience will benefit his club down the line.

Lawton stand at 7-3 on the year. The Wolverines will run a balanced offense and have a defense with a proclivity to give up some yards.

Wright previews Lawton.

Lawton wide out Tyron Amacker is one of the most talented players in the state. The senior receiver and safety will do a little of everything for the Wolverines. He has 1,160 all-purpose yards on the year. Send off for BHS from the Fine Arts Center at 10:15 this morning.

Kickoff will be at 7:00 with pregame at 6:30 on KWON – AM 1400, FM 93.3 and 95.1. Video livestream on KWONTV.com.
