Bartlesville High won its first playoff game in seven years last night, as BHS came from behind early then held on in overtime at Lawton in the 6A-II playoffs. The Bruins topped the Wolverines 36-30 at Cameron Stadium.

Despite two defensive penalties, Bartlesville held on fourth and goal from the three to keep Lawton out of the endzone and secure the Bruins first postseason win since 2015.

Here is how the final play sounded on KWON and KWONTV.com.

Bartlesville got 237 yards on 41 carries from sophomore running back PJ Wallace in the win. BHS had battled from down 16-0 in the first half in order to get into the ballgame. Two touchdowns and two 2-point conversions got the game tied.

The two-point conversions made for a spectacle. Both were passes from wide receiver Kaden Brown to quarterback Nate Neal.

This touchdown on a wheel route to Austin Zink gave the Bruins one of their leads in the 3rd quarter.

The victory is the first since a Bruin victory over Midwest City on the same weekend in 2015 at Custer Stadium.

Bartlesville will travel to Stillwater for the second time this season to face the No. 1 ranked Pioneers in the 2nd round next week.
