Huskies See Sweep; Six More Weeks of Hoops Expected

Pawhuska would host Pawnee on a regularly scheduled Thursday night game and the Huskies would get back to business on defense as the Huskies were too much for the Black Bears.

Starting with the Lady Huskies, PHS would go on to win 48-31.

The game was over quickly with back-to-back steals and scores by the Lady Huskies in less than ten seconds.

Gloria Baker would lead the way with 13 points in a game where Pawnee would score nearly half of its points in the fourth quarter.

#12 Pawhuska improves to 16-3 on the season winning its last eight of nine.

The Huskies looked to go 2-0 against Pawnee after facing the Black Bears in a tournament less than a month ago and would do exactly that winning 50-42.

Pawhuska would change its style throughout the game with leading through the first quarter 8-2 but would have an explosive second half to make sure this game did not slip through their paws.

Trenton Miles would go off scoring 11 of the Huskie’s 13 points in the third quarter including this three.

Huskies improve to 7-11 and seem to be piecing it together at a dangerous time.

A quick turnaround for Pawhuska as the Huskies are in action Friday against Newkirk. A game available on Sports Talk 99.1 KPGM and KPGMTV.com
