OKWU Hoops Returns Home to Host Bethany

OKWU hoops is back at home Tuesday as the Eagles host the Bethany Swedes. OKWU spent Saturday in McPherson where the men cruised past the Bulldogs and was able to get the bench involved. 

Head Coach Donnie Bostwick talked about his bench’s performance following the game at McPherson. 

His Eagles are 6-1 this season with a 2-0 conference record but will continue the tough flight that is the KCAC. The Swedes are 5-2 this season including a 42-point win against Avila. 

The Lady Eagles are trying to bounce back after coming up short against McPherson over the weekend. OKWU has shown signs of being an explosive defensive team with series of steals and blocks that sets the tone of the game. 

The Lady Eagles will have its hands full against a Bethany team that one its previous game by 50 points. 

The Women’s game tips off at 6 p.m. Tuesday with the Men’s following at 8 p.m.
