Oklahoma Wesleyan men’s soccer was announced as a regional host during Monday’s NAIA National Tournament selection show. The Eagles earned the No. 2 overall seed. OKWU will host three other schools at the Silver Lake Fields for the regional from April 22-24.

OKWU will square off with four-seed Lincoln (Ill.) in the first round of the event. No. 2 seed Briar Cliff (IA) and three-seed Southwestern Christian will face off on the other side of the bracket. After the first two rounds the top team will advance to the final site in Columbia County, Georgia.

The Eagles went 17-2-1 in the regular season. OKWU just won the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference tournament and was crowned regular season champions as well.

Typically soccer is a fall championship but due to the COVID-19 pandemic the championships were moved to the spring.
