Spring football starting to wind down for in-state Division-I teams. Both OU and Oklahoma State will hold their spring games this weekend.

One of the only question marks for Oklahoma is in the running back room. The Sooners main tailback last year in Rhamondre Stevenson declared for the NFL draft back in January.

Kennedy Brooks will likely be the main ball carrier for OU this fall – he missed all of last season after opting out in 2020. Head coach Lincoln Riley talks about Brooks.

Spring game in Norman will be at 4:00 on Saturday afternoon.

Meanwhile at Oklahoma State, the wide receiver position is a little fuzzy entering 2021, with No. 1 wide out Tylan Wallace graduating this year.

Wallace will be one of the best available wide receivers in next week’s NFL draft. Bixby product Brennan Presley had a standout performance in the Pokes bowl game win over Miami. Head coach Mike Gundy says Presley is the real deal.

Presley had six catches for 118 yards and three touchdowns during the Cowboys win over the Hurricane in the Cheeze-It Bowl in December.

OK-State’s spring game is at Noon on Saturday in Stillwater.
