KWON Radio serves Washington, Osage and Nowata Counties(K-W-O-N) and the surrounding area with a listener-driven mix of news and informational features, sports and talk. Award-winning KWON has been a finalist in Non-Metro Station of the Year honors from the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters for the last 18 years. It won Station of the Year in 1999, 2000, 2003, 2004, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2022!

KWON is committed to bringing area listeners the most accurate and complete news possible. For national and international information, we rely on the services of CBS Radio Network. For state news, it’s the Oklahoma News Network & Radio Oklahoma Network. For agricultural reports, we affiliate with ONN’s Agri-Net and Radio Oklahoma Network's Ron Hayes. Bloomberg Radio Network and local stock brokers keep us up on current financial prices. KWON and Bartlesville Radio have four full time news reporters to keep the area updated on local and regional news information. Tune in for the KWON Morning Show every weekday from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. with Phil Weaver and Tom Davis, KWON News at Noon with Tom Davis and the KWON 5 O'Clock News Hour with Nathan Thompson. 

Weather Leader

With award-winning weather coverage, KWON suspends regular programming when severe weather hits. The Washington County Emergency Management weather spotter team goes into action headquartered out of our studios. Staff spotters, radar coverage and constant information is aired until the weather clears with Severe Weather Anchor Nathan Thompson. KWON received the Outstanding Radio Spot Weather Award from the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters several times in the last 18 years.

Sports Leader

KWON is your season ticket for sports, under the direction of Sports Director Evan Fahrbach, and Assistant Sports Director Chase McNutt. You’ll hear Bartlesville Bruins, Oklahoma Wesleyan University, Oklahoma State Cowboys, Indians baseball, St. Louis Cardinals and the Dallas Cowboys.
