On Monday evening, members of the Pawhuska community gathered at the Dave Landrum Community Center for a design workshop to move one step closer with the comprehensive plan they are currently working on to improve the town.

This is something the city first began looking at in April and Jill Ferenc with TSW Design talks about what the over-arcing goals of this plan are.

Ferenc said there was an initial community meeting in June when citizens were able to come up with ideas on how to improve the city. Since then, community members have had the opportunity to take an online survey to showcase what they feel is the good and bad of Pawhuska.

Ferenc talks about some of the things that the people of Pawhuska have mentioned most when taking the survey.

The next step moving forward is to begin drafting a comprehensive plan and then a full draft plan will be presented in December. You have until Thursday to take the survey, which can be found on the City of Pawhuska Facebook Page.
