The Bartlesville Police Department responded to a stabbing in the 1600 block of Elm Tuesday afternoon shortly before 4pm.

According to the BPD press release,several patrol officers responded and was able to locate victim sitting on the curb with a severe injury to the torso.

Patrol then located and detained a suspect a few blocks away from the stabbing. The suspect has been placed under arrest.  

The victim was transported via life flight to Tulsa for medical treatment. This is still an ongoing investigation.
