Zach Bryan Issues Statement, Video After Craig County Arrest

Oklahoma country music star Zach Bryan issues a video and statement following his arrest Thursday in Craig County.
Bryan, 27, was arrested by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol on a misdemeanor complaint of obstruction of an investigation. He says he and his security officer were driving separate vehicles from Vinita to Boston when his security officer was pulled over by law enforcement.
Bryan says he also stopped, got out of his vehicle to smoke a cigarette, when the trooper instructed him to get back in his vehicle. He says he got “mouthy” with the trooper, who eventually put Bryan in handcuffs and took him to jail.
Bryan says he calmed down while in jail, posted bond and even shook hands with the arresting officer. Bryan says he “felt like a child and it was ridiculous and immature.”
He apologized for his actions and says he doesn’t think he’s above the law. Charges have not yet been filed against Bryan in Craig County.
Today I had an incident with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Emotions got the best of me and I was out of line in the things I said.

I support law enforcement as much as anyone can, I was just frustrated in the moment, it was unlike me and I apologize. They brought me to jail, and…
