Bartlesville Public Schools Supt. Chuck McCauley was our guest on COMMUNITY CONNECTION to bring everyone up to date on the first 6 weeks of classes.

 

McCauley touted some student achievements citing National Merit Scholarship qualifyers including semifinalist Lorren Lee and seven others.

 

Sports are well underway and McCauley spoke well of all the athletic programs. He also gave a special salute to the BHS Band and their recent accomplishments. The band finished 3rd at their contest in Moore.

 

Homecoming week is the first week of October. The parade will be on the Thursday before the big game.

 

BHS Theater is performing Two Gents, which is an updated version of Shakespeare's Two Gentlemen from Verona. The performances are September 28 and 30 at 7pm at the Fine Arts Center.
