At Tuesday evening's council meeting in Pawhuska, City Manager Jerry Eubanks presented the council with a draft of the 2025-2026 budget. By state law, Eubanks has to present the council with a balanced budget. In order to do that, Eubanks had to cut five jobs within the City of Pawhuska. He goes into more detail with what jobs will be affected.

If that budget were to get passed as it stands now, there would be one person working in code enforcement. Next week, there will be a public hearing for the citizens of Pawhuska to voice their opinion on the budget. The week after that it will be up to the council to formally adopt a budget.
