Dewey Football Standout Signs to Graceland University

Dewey football standout Jayden Vallen officially signed to play college football at Graceland University on Friday.
Vallen became a star on the offensive side of the ball with his speed and quickness at runningback. He was part of a Dewey football bunch led by first year head coach Scott Sapulpa, who went 4-6 this past season, finishing one win shy of a playoff appearance.
Graceland University is an NAIA school in Lamoni, Iowa, near the Iowa-Missouri border. Lamoni is just over 110 miles northeast of Kansas City. The Yellowjackets finished 3-7 under first year head coach Phil Staback. Graceland had four all-conference selections this season.
Vallen made his verbal commitment to Graceland University on Dec. 21, 2025.
