Dewey and Nowata Collides for First Time in 2026

Dewey and Nowata are set to meet on the basketball court for the first time in 2026 on Friday night in Dewey.
 
Last season, the two teams split their matchups. Nowata won at home to open the season, Dewey won their matchup at home.
 
For Dewey, the Bulldoggers enter with a record of 16-2 and a No. 15 ranking in the state in 3A. Dewey has won six straight.
 
Head coach Lance Knight talked about the rivalry with Nowata.
 
For Nowata, the Ironmen enter with a record of 10-7. They have won three of their last four games. With the playoffs just a few weeks away, head coach Derick Ott said he's looking for more consistency.
 
Friday night is homecoming for Dewey. The boys will get the evening started at 6 p.m. with the girls to follow around 7:30 p.m. Coverage can be heard on 104.9 - KRIG and KRIGTV.com.
