Oklahoma Wesleyan softball is on a roll this spring behind a nine game winning streak in the heart of conference play.
The Lady Eagles are 24-6 overall and 9-1 in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC). They are second in the KCAC standings behind Evangel University.
During the win streak, the Lady Eagles have scored six or more runs in each game. Head coach Shawn Woods talks about the team's approach at the plate.
The Lady Eagles swept Avila on Tuesday on the road to stay hot, and weather permitting, have two more games this weekend at home for Kansas Wesleyan.
OKWU's doubleheader Saturday against Kansas Wesleyan is slated for 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
