Bartlesville Baseball 3-0 in Alabama
Bartlesville High baseball is off to a 3-0 start during the Bruins’ Spring Break trip in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
BHS swept games over Jackson Southside, Tennessee, 9-2 then Seymour, Tennessee, 3-0 on Tuesday afternoon.
Luke Fox tallied four hits at the top of Bartlesville’s lineup. Brett Eaves and Shawn Tate also had base-knocks in both games.
Brenden Asher shut the door on Seymour in the second game. The sophomore went the full seven innings. He notched 13 strikeouts, gave up two hits and walked one. Barrett Merciez got his first varsity win in the first game.
Bartlesville improves to 5-3 on the year and will play again on Wednesday morning, taking on Gallatin, Tennessee at 11:30.
Bartlesville has won four games in a row on the diamond dating back to this past Thursday.
