Bartlesville Football Heads to OKC Friday
Bartlesville High will try to make it two wins in a row for a rare game in the Oklahoma City metro area on Friday evening.
BHS takes on US Grant in another District contest.
This fall has been another coming out party for Bruin junior running back PJ Wallace, who ran for 242 yards in a big win over Booker T. Washington last week. Wallace has now surpassed 700 yards on the season and is averaging nearly six yards a carry on 30 carries a game.
Head coach Harry Wright talks about what makes Wallace so impressive.
US Grant presents an unusual challenge, the Generals are 2-2, but have historically struggled with fellow 6A opponents. US Grant lost to Stillwater last week, 76-6. Bartlesville won this game 55-0 at Custer Stadium last year.
Wright talks about taking the game seriously even though Bartlesville is a heavy favorite.
