Bartlesville Football Heads to Collinsville
Week No. 3 of high school football is here across Northeast Oklahoma and Southeast Kansas, as most of our local clubs are wrapping up non-District play.
For Bartlesville High, a chance to get a tough 5A opponent of its back. The Bruins make a short trip down to Collinsville for Bartlesville’s first road game of the fall. The Bruins are coming off a bye week.
Unfortunately, many of the guys who were banged up early on this season are still navigating recovery for their injuries, although none are expected to be entire season-long issues.

Collinsville is 7-0 against the Bruins all time. This is the eighth straight year the two schools have met. Five of the previous seven matchups were decided by less than two touchdowns.
Wright says the Cardinals size and discipline makes them a tough matchup.
A 6:30 pregame on Friday evening with a 7:00 kick. We will have the Bruins and Cardinals on KWON – AM 1400, FM 93.3 and 95.1.
