Lady Spartans topped BHS 81-44. Bartlesville was within seven early in the third before a quick 19-0 Bixby run put the game out of reach. Lady Bruins again played the entire game with only five players. Alayah Lunn again led the way in scoring with 15.

Bartlesville girls fall to 7-11 on the year.

On the guy’s side, it was nip-and-tuck throughout, with Bixby prevailing down the stretch. Spartans won 69-61.

Bixby outscored Bartlesville 15-4 in the first six minutes of the fourth quarter, giving the Spartans the lead for good.

BHS had dominated the first three quarters, leading wire-to-wire. This Cooper Wood offensive rebound and put back gave the Bruins a seven-point lead right before half.

Bruin guys are 5-12.

Aadhi Ayyappan had a career-high 23 points. David Castillo finished with 19.

Both teams back at home against Sand Springs on Monday night at Bruin Field House.
