Bartlesville softball also off to a 1-0 start, as the Lady Bruins got a big road District win to begin the season on Tuesday night.

Bartlesville blew out Edmond Deer Creek, 15-4 in a run-ruled five-inning win.

The Lady Bruins racked up 13 hits, three coming from Erin Bridendolph, who was a single short of the cycle. She went 3-3 with a double, triple and home run. Bridendolph had five RBIs in the game.

Lola Redington and Isabell Daniels also went yard in the 11-run win.

The winning pitcher was Kelsie Yale, who allowed four runs over four innings.

Bartlesville is right back at it at Choctaw in a District game on Thursday before a tournament in Norman on Friday and Saturday.
