Bowl Projections Bleak for In-State Football
Neither Oklahoma nor Oklahoma State football will be in action this weekend, as the Sooners and Pokes will watch the color purple take over AT&T Stadium in Arlington for the Big 12 Championship. TCU and Kansas State with some major College Football Playoff implications on Saurday.
However both OU and OK-State will still have a bowl game next month.
They will get the assignment at some point on Sunday. However most projections have OU in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl in Arizona or the Texas Bowl in Houston. Wisconsin or Arkansas could be the respective opponents.
Many have Oklahoma State slotted for the Texas Bowl against the Razorbacks, as well. Mississippi State or Missouri are another couple of SEC options for that game - Or perhaps the Cheese-It Bowl against North Carolina.
