Bruin Girls Take Down Muskogee
The Bartlesville High girls are off to their best start in five years, as BHS held on to beat Muskogee in a single non-District game at Bruin Field House on Friday night.
Bartlesville beat the Roughers, 46-38.
The game was a grind. Bartlesville trailed most of the first half before tying things up at halftime at 17 apiece. The game went back and forth most of the 3rd and 4th.
This basket ended up finally building a seven-point Bruin lead early in the fourth quarter.
Later, a once nine-point Bruin lead dwindled to two, but Bartlesville kept the advantage the rest of the way. This nice cutting shot from Kenzie Denny helped keep the Bruins ahead.
Alayah Lunn finished with 12, Kennedy Nubel also added in 10. Four Lady Bruins finished with seven or more.
Bartlesville improves to 3-1 and will also be at Sapulpa on Tuesday night.
