Bruin Volleyball Hosts No. 1 Team in State
Big match for Bartlesville High volleyball on Tuesday evening, as the Lady Bruins are trying to make a late-season push to host a Regional.
A win on Tuesday at home against Jenks would do Bartlesville wonders in that department.
Bartlesville stands at 18-8 on the season. The Lady Bruins enter tonight ranked at No. 11 in the state. Jenks is the No. 1 team in the state at 19-6.
One of the keys to Bartlesville’s good play the past few weeks has been the emergence of some younger contributors at the varsity level.
Bartlesville has only lost one match in the month of September, to Booker T. Washington in its own tournament.
BHS has won nine of its last 10. In order to keep that pace up, Ward talks about some things she wants Bartlesville to get better at entering the back third of the season.
A 6:30 start time for the match tonight at Bruin Field House.
