Bruins Begin Season with Claremore
The Bartlesville High Bruins will again begin their season against Claremore on Friday night.
BHS will take on the Zebras for the sixth straight season-opener. Bartlesville has won four of the past five meetings, including three in a row.
This season will likely have the highest expectations for Bartlesville football since entering 2015.
BHS returns its leading quarterback, wide receiver and running back from last season.
It is the junior year for tailback PJ Wallace, who burst onto the statewide scene with 1,700 yards in Bartlesville’s five-win season a year ago.
Head coach Harry Wright talks about the Zebras and their gameplan to stop Wallace.

Wright says it will be nice to get things kicked off on Friday night.
A 7:00 kick with a 6:30 pregame Friday evening on KWON – AM 1400, FM 93.3 and 95.1.
