Copan Finishes Promising 2022 Football Season

Let’s wrap up another high school football season in Copan, as the Hornets finished just on the outside looking in the Class C playoffs.

A loss at Oaks on Saturday kept Copan out of the postseason. The club had record numbers of guys out for the team this fall, and only one senior on the roster. Most of the skill guys were freshman.

Head coach Marshall Foreman talks about his thoughts on 2022.

Teagan Caron and Kane Foreman are also both freshman who saw significant success this season. Noah Cobb was Copan’s lone senior on the roster. He was a lineman and a jack of all trades for the Hornets, on a team that needed such a player.

Foreman talks about Cobb.

Foreman says that Copan should get five or six more guys from this year’s eighth grade class, as well.

Next year’s Hornet club could have close to 20 guys on the roster.
