Dewey Baseball Looks to Stay Hot in Regional Play

The Dewey Bulldoggers are on an absolute tear on the baseball diamond over the past three weeks. Dewey has won 12 of their last 13 contests and are currently on an eight-game win streak. Dewey’s last loss was on April 8th when they fell to Vinita in the first game of a two-game district set, 10-5.

Since then, Dewey is outscoring their opponents, 87-25 during the win streak. Up next, Dewey will do battle with Fort Gibson on Wednesday afternoon in the first round of regional play.

Bulldogger Head Coach Riley Allen talks about what his guys will need to do to keep up the recent trend as playoffs get started.

Bulldoggers and Tigers at 1:30 pm in Hilldale Wednesday afternoon, winner will play at 4 pm in the winners bracket, and the loser will play Thursday on the losers side.

*Note - the schedule says Thursday and Friday, but the games have been moved up one day due to severe weather chances
