Dewey Football Looks to Nowata for Season Opener

The Dewey Bulldoggers are coming off an unplanned off week after their zero-week contest with Miami was pushed back to September 15th, due to the heat wave that came through Northeast Oklahoma last week. One of many storylines to watch for Dewey this fall season is the quarterback spot.
Trenton Muninger graduated this fall after holding down the signal caller spot for years, and he is being seceded by his younger brother Ryder. Head Coach Ryan Richardson talked about his young quarterback heading into game one.
Nowata will have the advantage of having a game under their belt already with their game at Chelsea during zero-week. Although, Richardson says that he learned a lot about his team at their previous scrimmage.
Again, the Bulldoggers host Nowata on Friday, Sep. 1st and will try to replicate last year’s result when they walked out of Nowata victorius, 47-14.
