Dewey Heads to Vinita for Week Two Matchup
The Dewey Bulldoggers are set to take on the Vinita Hornets Friday night with a chance to be 2-0 for the first time since the 2020 season. For Dewey, they are coming off an emotional late theatrics victory of Nowata 15-12. While the Bulldoggers won the game, Head Coach Ryan Richardson said there are some things that they will have to fix before that matchup with the Hornets.
The Hornets have won four straight in this series, but Richardson said that he feels like this is a great chance for his guys to steal a victory on the road against what is a different Vinita team from previous years.
Here is what Richardson says needs to happen if they want to walk away victorious on Friday night.
