Dewey Ready to Open FB Season with Nowata

The Dewey Bulldoggers are ready to get to Friday night when they take on the Nowata Ironmen in what was supposed to be their second game of the year. We’ve mentioned many times that the Dewey game against Miami was pushed back last Friday to September, which left the Bulldoggers game less in zero-week.

Dewey Head Football Coach Ryan Richardson says while they were disappointed about not playing, they are as equally excited to open the season with their rival.

With the Bulldoggers having the week off, they had to reevaluate how they wanted to finish last week’s practice and start the game prep for the Ironmen over a week in advance. Richardson talks about the sequence of events for his squad after the postponement.

The Bulldoggers will host the Ironmen Friday night to kick off their season in a game that we will carry for you on KRIG 104.9 and KRIGTV.com. We will have more on Dewey and Nowata before the matchup Friday night.
