The Dewey Bulldoggers are feeling good after a thrilling 15-12 win over their rival Nowata in the Adam Hooper Bowl last Friday. Dewey trailed that entire game until they took the lead with a Ryder Muninger touchdown pass in the 4th quarter to give the Bulldoggers the lead. Dewey now sits at 1-0 as they prepare for the Vinita Hornets.

Dewey Head Coach Ryan Richardson talked about the win and what this week has been like following the game.

The Bulldoggers now take on a Vinita team that lost a lot of players to graduation this past spring and is coming off a week one loss to Jay, 30-18. Although Dewey lost to the Hornets last year, Coach Richardson says he is confident in their chances.

Bulldoggers and Hornets kick off Friday night at 7 pm at Vinita in a game we will carry for you on KRIG 104.9 and video coverage will be on KRIGTV.com.
