Huskies Gear Up for Pioneer Woman Classic
The Pawhuska Huskies get the season kicked off next Friday in a week zero matchup at Nowata. Before that big district matchup commences, the Huskies will play host to yet another Pioneer Woman Classic on Friday night at Ormond-Beach Memorial Stadium.
Sperry, Rejoice Christian and Dewey will all be in attendance and Pawhuska Coach Matt Hennesy schedules this event knowing it will make his team better in the long run.
With 36 players on the roster as the season starts, Hennesy says that number is lower than it has been in year’s past and it is important to find a way to build depth where they can find it.
Friday’s Pioneer Woman Classic gets started at 5:30 p.m. Entry is free, but they ask that you bring laundry detergent.
