Huskies Ready for Cashion Friday Night

Pawhuska started out week zero with a dominant 82-0 win over Caney Valley and the Huskies will look to keep that momentum rolling into Cashion, a team they have played for the last four years now. The Wildcats were shutout in a game against Rejoice Christian to open the year and Pawhuska Coach Matt Hennesy acknowledges that they are a young group, but he also knows they will come ready to play.

Cashion is a team that went 4-7 last year after winning back-to-back state championships. The Huskies won last year's game 40-29, but the Wildcats jumped out to an early double-digit lead. Hennesy says Pawhuska can't afford another slow start in this year's game.

With Cashion being more than two hours away, Hennesy said this week's routine will be a little bit different than normal.

Friday's game at Cashion will be a 7 p.m. kickoff. You can listen to the game on Sportstalk KPGM FM 99.1 and video coverage will be available at KPGMTV.com.
