Huskies Ready to Avenge Last Week's Loss

The Pawhuska Huskies are looking to come off of their first loss of the season, a 38-16 defeat to cross-county rival Hominy. Coach Matt Hennesy says the Huskies are a young team and hopes that loss will be a wakeup call for his team.
Hennesy talks about how his coaching staff has approached practice this week following the tough loss and looking ahead to another difficult game.
Up next for Pawhuska is another county foe in Woodland. A season ago, Pawhuska trailed 32-6 in the second quarter and it took a stop on a two-point conversion late to get the 48-46 win. Hennesy says the home opener won't be easy.
Kickoff for the home opener is scheduled for 7 p.m. from Ormond-Beach Memorial Stadium. Coverage can be heard on Sportstalk KPGM FM 99.1 and KPGMTV.com.
