Indians Finish 3rd in Mountain Home

Bartlesville’s summer baseball team wrapped up a successful weekend in Mountain Home, Arkansas on Sunday, as the Tribe get back on the horse again today.
The Doenges Toyota Indians went 2-2 after qualifying and then losing in the semifinals of the annual Twin Lakes Classic.
The Indians went 2-1 in pool play on Thursday through Saturday before falling to the eventual tournament champion in the semis yesterday.
The Fort Smith Sportsmen topped the Indians, 10-6.
The Tribe scored all six of their runs in the bottom of the third but could not get anything else going offensively.
Six Indian errors led to five unearned Fort Smith runs.
The Sportsmen scored seven unanswered in the final four frames to run away with the semifinal win. Still, another trip to the final day of the event.
The Indians are 12-4 and return to Oklahoma for another D-Bat League double-header on Monday night – weather pending.
The Tribe will take on E-Team Sponsor in Stroud, a 5:30 first pitch back on KWON and KWONTV.com.
