New Faces Look to Make a Difference for Barnsdall in 2024

With school starting a week earlier in Barnsdall, the Panthers hit the ground running with fall camp this week. Coach Kylee Sweeney is glad they had that extra time for multiple reasons, one of which is so that they can have that much more practice time as a group. That is something the Panthers did during the summer, but not as much as they had hoped in the wake of the tornado that came through town in early May.

After watching the team during summer workouts and seeing a week of practice, Sweeney talks about a few new faces that Barnsdall fans will notice this fall.

In addition to that added production, Sweeney was sure to mention that Maverick Lamphear, Brock Townley, Henry Easley and Braden Byers all return as three year starters.

The Panthers get their first taste of 11-man football in four years when they play at Caney Valley on Friday, August 30th.
