Nowata Returns to Gridiron for a Thursday Night Game

The Nowata Ironmen are returning to the gridiron Thursday night against the Hulbert Riders after having a bye week last week. This will be NHS first game since the dramatic 15-12 loss to Dewey in the Adam Hooper Bowl, 15-12.

 For Nowata, they’ve had extra time to prepare for Hulbert.

Ironmen Head Coach Chance Juby shared his thoughts about Thursday’s game coming off the loss to Dewey.

The Ironmen are meeting up with the only team they beat in a non-forfeit fashion last year as they beat the Riders, 42-19. This is a good chance for the Ironmen to be 2-1 heading into homecoming with Caney Valley next week.

Juby shares what he thinks they need to do to come out with a win on Thursday.

Ironmen and Riders kickoff Thursday night at 7 pm with a 6:30 pregame on KRIG 104.9 and KRIGTV.com
