OKWU Soccer Teams in NAIA Tournament
Both the Oklahoma Wesleyan soccer teams are headed to the NAIA National Tournament, and neither will have to travel very far for their regional’s bracket play, which begins later this week.
The Eagle men are the two-seed in the Mid-America Christian Oklahoma City Bracket. The Eagles will face third-seeded Corban, Oregon in the first round.
The game will be Thursday afternoon at 2:00. The OKWU men won the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament over the weekend. Wesleyan is 14-5 on the season.
On the women’s side, the Lady Eagles are hosting a first-round Regional. The Bartlesville Bracket sees OKWU as the No. 1 seed. Grace, Indiana, University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma and Hastings, Nebraska also make the trip.
Wesleyan will face Hastings in the first round on Thursday - with a kick-off time to be announced.
The Lady Eagles are 20-0-1 on the season.
