Parker Put on IR With 49ers
Former Bartlesville High football player AJ Parker has found himself in some roster limbo to begin the NFL season.
NFL teams released their 53-man rosters on Tuesday and Parker was put in the Injured Reserve list for the San Francisco 49ers.
Parker was unable to finish the final preseason game for the 49ers last week due to a hamstring injury. Parker will now have to miss the season on the IR with San Fran, get activated later on this season or come to an injury settlement with the 49ers in order to play elsewhere.
Parker spent most of last season split between the practice squad and active roster with the Detroit Lions. This is his third season in the NFL and first with the 49ers.
