Pawhuska Takes First L to Hominy
The Battle of the Osage didn’t go the way of Pawhuska on Friday night, as the Hominy Bucks took down their cross-county rivals, 38-16.
Pawhuska struck first in the first quarter of play, but it was the Bucks who rattled off 28 unanswered points. Hominy scored on their final three possessions of the first half and the opening drive out of halftime to all but put the game out of reach.
Here is that first quarter touchdown that gave Pawhuska the early lead.
Hominy has now won the last three regular season Battle of the Osage matchups. This week’s Patriot GMC Hyundai Player of the Game went to Parker Delgadillo, who came on in the fourth quarter and had some great runs.
Up next for this 2-1 Pawhuska squad is a home game against Woodland.
