Pawhuska, Hominy Both Undefeated for Battle of the Osage
The Battle of the Osage is set to kickoff tonight and it is sure to be an electric atmosphere in Hominy, as two of the best teams in the state prepare to fight it out. The Bucks have won the last two regular season games, but Pawhuska won the 2021 playoff game.
Both teams come into the game with 2-0 records and dominating wins in all four contests they have played. Hominy quarterback Jaxon Woods has started since his freshman year and Pawhuska Coach Matt Hennesy says the Bucks have great athletes, but at the end of the day, they go how Woods goes.
Being a non-district game, Hennesy says Friday's game is all about bragging rights and playing well-disciplined football.
