Sooners Set for SMU on Sat.

OU head football coach Brent Venables had his weekly press conference yesterday, and he spent a good portion of it pumping up the Sooners next opponent.

OU will host SMU on Saturday evening at 5:00 in Norman. Southern Methodist is a top-50 team in the country by most projections.

SMU is 1-0 after a 38-14 win over Louisiana Tech last week.

Venables talks about the Mustangs and their new head coach. 

Oklahoma is a 15.5-point favorite on Saturday. A 3:00 pregame on 100.1 – KYFM, as the Sooners try to get to 2-0 on the season.
