WCS Football On Target for Fall
Continuing with local high school football, at Wesleyan Christian School the Mustangs are looking to field a team once again this fall.
Fabian Quiroz is still on as WCS head coach. He was slated to run the program a year ago when the high school had to call off their season because of low numbers of players. Quiroz has had his guys going through workouts this summer.
He talks about the Mustang football offseason.
Numbers of players are still up in the air for the club. Quiroz says he has a solid eight guys committed for the fall. In eight-man football that is just enough, but he says he is hoping to snag a few more guys once the school year begins.
Game one for WCS will be a tough one at Yale during Zero Week on Aug. 28.
